During the operation of the raw material preparation system in the cement plant, the sealed apron feeder repeatedly stops, resulting in the shutdown of the raw material system, which has a more passive impact on production. Especially with the increasingly strict environmental control, the shutdown of the vertical mill system will lead to fluctuations in the gas emission data of the rotary kiln system, and even exceed the control standards, resulting in the rotary kiln having to reduce production or even stop the material, which seriously threatens the continuous operation of the entire clinker production line.

2. Implementation content
Combined with the phenomenon of chain plate fracture in multiple skip and stop inspections of sealed apron feeder, through careful inspection and analysis of the internal structure of apron feeder, the operation of the chain plate, chain, pulley and pulley shaft is investigated, and it is considered that sealed apron feeder has many unreasonable design. It is the main cause of fast loss of spare parts, high operation failure rate and frequent skipping of equipment during operation.
1) First of all, the operation resistance of the equipment is large. The power of the sealed apron feeder motor is 20KW, when the motor frequency is 25Hz, the motor current reaches about 30A, and the operation resistance of the equipment is larger;
2) Secondly, the structure of the direct friction between the wheel and the wheel shaft leads to faster wear, and the service life of the whole chain is only about one year, and the equipment wear is quite serious. Before completely replacing the whole chain, due to the continuous wear of the wheel and the wheel shaft, the uneven force of the inner and outer chain plate, basically an average of two days will appear an inner and outer chain plate fracture, and in serious cases, the inner and outer chain plate is broken twice a day, which seriously affects the normal continuous operation of the vertical mill.
Based on the above analysis and research, it is decided to transform the sealed apron feeder, and the specific transformation plan is as follows:
1. Lubricate the sealed apron feeder conveyor chain
The addition of an automatic lubrication system reduces wear between equipment by increasing equipment lubrication, thereby reducing the resistance of the operation of equipment spare parts. After selecting suitable oil injection holes, an oil cup is arranged above each side of the maintenance door, and the oil injection pipeline is below the oil cup, and the control valve is installed on the pipeline to adjust the amount of oil injection. The size of the oil cup is made according to the amount of oil injected per shift
2. Reform the sealed apron feeder conveyor chain plate
Because the apron feeder conveyor chain plate is basically broken from the weakest position in the middle of the pin hole, in order to effectively increase the folding strength of the weak position and prevent frequent breakage of the chain plate, the chain plate pin hole is widened from 96mm to 116mm.
After passing, the size of the chain plate is widened and the folding strength of the chain plate is effectively improved. After the chain plate is installed, when encountering a strong external force, due to the increase of its own bending strength, the occurrence of frequent breakage is avoided, so that the equipment runs continuously and steadily.


3. Technological innovation
1, through the gap between the chain pulley and the chain plate, add lubricating oil to the pulley and the pulley shaft, while part of the lubricating oil will flow to the pulley and the chain track, effectively reduce the friction between the apron feeder and the pulley shaft, the pulley and the track, reduce the operating resistance of apron feeder, extend the service life of the chain and track. Spare parts such as chain plate, roller and track are saved.
2, the sealed apron feeder conveyor chain pin hole is easy to break weak, greatly extended the service life of the chain plate, from an average of two days before the transformation, to a month after the transformation did not break, to ensure the composition of the vertical grinding system production, made a contribution to the continuous operation of rotary kiln. At the same time, it also greatly reduces the labor intensity of workers.
Iv. Evaluation of transformation effect
1. When the motor frequency is 25Hz before the transformation, the motor current reaches 30A; After the transformation, when the motor frequency is 25Hz, the motor current is reduced to 25A; The power of the sealed apron feeder motor is 20KW, the power factor is 0.86, and the voltage is 380V, according to this calculation, the daily power saving =1.732*380* (30-25) *0.86*24/1000=68 degrees. Equivalent to electricity saving 40 yuan per day. The annual saving of electricity costs more than 10,000 yuan.
2, the service life of the apron feeder chain and track is one year before the transformation, and the service life of the chain and track can reach two years after the transformation, and the service life of the chain plate, chain and track is significantly extended after the transformation, which reduces a lot of maintenance work and significantly reduces the labor intensity of the post workers.
3. The operation of the vertical mill is more reliable after the transformation, which reduces the production reduction and material stop of the rotary kiln due to the shutdown of the vertical mill, and effectively ensures the efficient and stable operation of the rotary kiln.
