Cause of leakage of apron feeder
There are two main types of apron feeder leakage, the first type is chain plate leakage.Because there is a gap in the chain plate structure, the material leaks into the closed ring of the conveyor chain plate;The second form is the chain plate adhesive material leakage.Due to rain, snow and other reasons, the viscosity of the material increases, the material stuck on the chain plate in the return trip due to gravity, vibration and other reasons from the chain plate, resulting in leakage.
The main reasons for chain plate leakage of apron feeder are as follows:
1. Caused by the structure of the chain plate itself.Due to lapping between each chain plate, several small gaps are formed, and some fine scraps are mixed into the closed ring of the chain plate from the gap.
Roller chain plate is made by hydraulic press by mould pressing forming, and welding of bearing pedestal and central chain plate wear-resistant plate, due to the fabrication and welding deformation, assembly error, make each chain plate around 1 mm gap between, some can be up to 3-4 mm, so that some smaller granularity of the material and adhesive material containing certain moisture also leaked into the chain plate sealing ring.
2. The movement characteristics of apron feeder aggravate the leakage phenomenon of chain plate.Apron feeder belongs to chain transmission mechanism, loose materials are in the process of acceleration and deceleration along with the chain plate, and the vibration caused by the impact of large materials on the chain plate increases the leakage phenomenon of the chain plate.
3. The accumulation of adhesive materials leaking to the chain plate will produce a hard adhesion layer on the chain plate.Chain plate may arch deformation and other phenomena.After the deformation of the chain plate, the leakage will be more serious, forming a vicious cycle of bad working state.
The ways to avoid and solve the leakage problem are as follows The new type apron feeder is adopted. The users who have used the old type apron feeder can replace the chain plate device with the new type apron feeder on the basis of the original equipment. In this way, the leakage problem of the chain plate will be fundamentally solved.
Solution to adhesive leakage: when conveying materials with certain moisture and humidity, no matter new or old type apron feeder, there is adhesive leakage phenomenon.
The following three methods are used to deal with dry material leakage of apron feeder:
1) The first method.Some dry material escapes from the chain plate on the return journey and leaks to the belt conveyor along a leak hopper formed by a cement wall, where it is transported with the broken material.
2) The second method.A scraper conveyor is suspended under the apron feeder, and the leaking material is fed to the belt conveyor through the funnel of the scraper conveyor.
3) The third method is to fix the scraper conveyor in the cement foundation groove under the apron feeder, and the leakage material enters into the scraper conveyor through the funnel.
