The heavy-duty apron feeder is an auxiliary equipment for transportation machinery. It is used in large-scale concentrating plant crushing and grading workshops and cement, building materials and other departments. As a continuous and uniform feeding of the silo to the primary crusher, it can also be used to transport materials with large particle size and specific gravity for short distances. It can be installed horizontally or tilted up to a maximum inclination of 12 degrees. In order to prevent the material from directly hitting the feeder, it is required that the silo does not appear empty.
The various types of apron feeders are divided into right-hand drive and left-hand drive according to the transmission mode. In the direction of material running, the drive system is right-hand drive on the right side of the machine, and vice versa.
