The raw material grinding system of cement plant uses limestone, clay and copper tailings to feed the ball mill, and feeds with
apron feeder. The materials of the three components are respectively sent to the apron feeder through the bar gate, and then fall to the belt scale through the apron feeder trough. The models of the three apron feeders are BL1000x4000mm. In the early stage of trial production, due to the difference in the properties of each component, there were some problems in the belt scale during blanking, and the problems were solved after transformation.
1) Problems and causes analysis
1.1 Limestone blanking
When the limestone is blanked, the problem is that the belt scale is crushed and the belt is worn. The reasons are:
1) The Angle between the two sides of the tray and the belt scale is 60°, which has little hindrance and buffering effect on the material, so the material almost falls directly on the belt scale, and it is easy to kill the belt scale when the material volume is large;
2) The vertical distance between the lower edge of the pour tank and the belt scale is 50mm, which is small. When sometimes the mine crusher has problems, there will occasionally be some large limestone, which is stuck under the baffle at the front end of the pour tank, and the belt will be worn.
1.2 Iron powder and clay blanking,
The iron powder is made of copper tailings, the particle size is very fine, and because of the large moisture, it is almost a cake, and the clay is similar. The material seems to fall on the belt scale in the tank, which not only affects the measurement of the belt scale, but also is difficult to control the feeding amount.
2 Reconstruction Method
2.1 Set the valve plate to control the feeding amount of
apron feeder
A valve plate that can be moved up and down is provided on both sides of the pour tank to control the feeding amount of apron feeder to the belt scale. The valve plate is set above the apron plate of apron feeder and 500mm away from the front feeding port. The guide rail is welded with two Angle irons on each side of the plate, and a slit is formed in the middle as a track for lifting the valve plate. Drill two bolt holes into the Angle iron, move the valve plate up and down to a proper position, and tighten the bolts to secure the valve plate. Three apron feeder are reformed in this way, which plays the role of controlling the flow size of apron feeder and uniform feeding.
2.2 Improvement of limestone chute to prevent belt weigher crushing and belt wear Repair and weld two buffer plates at the bottom end of the chute. The buffer plate is at 30° with the horizontal surface. In order to reinforce the buffer plate, reinforcing bars are welded in the lower part of the buffer plate and the pouring groove. The limestone falls to the belt scale through the buffer plate, and the force of the belt scale is slow, eliminating the phenomenon of crushing. Cut off part of the baffle plate at the front end of the pour tank, so that the material is no longer stuck and the wear of the belt is avoided. The function of the front end of the trough is to prevent the limestone from bouncing off the apron feeder on the belt scale. After cutting off the front part of the apron, it is found that even if the limestone rebounds out, it still falls on the belt.
2.3 Set grille disperser cake iron powder and clay
Weld three 20mm thick grates at 30 angles to the apron feeder tray body. In this way, the iron powder in the shape of the cake and the soil of the plate hit these grates after coming down from the apron feeder, and were broken into small pieces or even powder to fall on the belt scale, reducing the impact on the measurement of the belt scale to a low level. In order to make the grid force uniform, extend the service life, not easy to break off welding, a piece of No. 10 channel steel is welded along a reasonable position in the middle and upper part of the grid to play a supporting role.
3 Effects
Through the above transformation,
apron feeder feeding is more uniform and stable, iron powder and clay weigher is also more stable, limestone belt weigher has never been crushed to death, and belt wear is not so serious, and satisfactory results have been achieved.
