The operation condition of the trough chain conveyor housing directly affects the production, therefore, to grasp the common faults and root causes of
trough chain conveyor, in the daily work to find the problem in time to solve the problem, to ensure the stability of production is crucial. Trough chain conveyor is the continuous conveying equipment, which is in the shell of the closed rectangular section, with the help of the moving scraper chain, convey dust, small pieces and other bulk materials, because in the transport of materials, the scraper chain is covered in the material, so called trough chain conveyor. The trough chain conveyor is composed of MS type horizontal trough chain conveyor, MC type vertical trough chain conveyor and MZ type trough chain conveyor. The chain is the traction bearing assembly of the trough chain conveyor, which is the main working part. The chain is divided into die-forging chain, bush roller chain and double-plate chain according to the structure.
When the material is transported horizontally by the force of the scraper conveyor chain in the forward direction of MS type
trough chain conveyor, the material is not only squeezed, but also because of its weight, a friction force is generated between the materials, which ensures the relative stability between the material layers. When the moving force and friction force are greater than the external friction force between the material and the conveyor housing, the material will form a continuous and stable material flow along with the scraper chain. When the material is transported vertically by the force of the scraper conveyor chain in the forward direction of MC type trough chain conveyor, the material creates a stress that is deflected to both sides, thus forming the internal friction of the material. The material transported in the horizontal section generates a continuous thrust on the upper material, resulting in the material being transported upward. When the internal friction force and thrust force are greater than the external friction resistance and its self-weight of material caused by the material moving in the shell, the material is continuously lifted.
Precautions for equipment installation
1.First leveling the foundation with a level gauge to make sure the basal level at installation time;
2.When the housing of the trough chain conveyor is installed, the horizontal and vertical of housing and the vertical of inner wall are should be ensured, the connection flange of the two adjacent sections of the housing shall not be staggered;
3.When installing the upper and lower track, the track joint must be polished and leveled before welding, and the high and low deviation of the joint is less than 0.5mm, so as to ensure that the scraper chain runs without any stuck phenomenon;
4.The head, the tail, the middle housing and other parts of the machine should be firmly supported and fixed, especially the head and turning section, where bear a large force, the foundation should pay special attention to reinforce;
5.The head wheel, the tail wheel and the supporting wheel must be aligned so that the wheels and axles are kept parallel to ensure that they are on the same central plane, so as to prevent the scraper chain from deviation or being subjected to greater resistance during operation;
6. When installing the conveyor chain, please check the joint rotation of the chain one by one to check whether it is flexible, otherwise, it should be timely polished;
7. The herringbone protection plate of the upper part of the chain conveyor shall be supported well, otherwise it may fall off and sink during operation, and pin the conveyor chain;
8. When installing the scraper chain, there is a direction requirement, and it is forbidden to install it in reverse. The conveyor chain shall be connected in a series of about 10 scraper chains in a segmented way, and then installed step by step. When the scraper chain goes around the head wheel, it can be driven by manual turning;
9. As for the last joint of the scraper chain,MS type can be connected in the upper part of the horizontal middle section,MC type and MZ type are generally connected at the upper observation hole of the curved segment. After the pin shaft is connected, the no-load testing is to be sure to carefully check whether the missing pin shaft is not welded;
10. After the installation of the scraper chain, the tail adjustment device should be adjusted to keep the scraper with appropriate tightness.
When the trough chain conveyor is during regular repair or overhaul, to be strictly in accordance with the maintenance work and technical standards, seriously responsible for the maintenance. Otherwise, in the future production, the fault will be more passive, the correct installation can extend the service life of
trough chain conveyor. During the usual daily maintenance, the conveyor chain should be inspected regularly, find the problem and solve it in time.
