Banana screen structure is a kind of high-efficiency separation equipment, which is widely used in chemical industry, mining industry, grain industry and so on. In this paper, the structure of banana screen is optimized and its application in mining industry is introduced. By optimizing screen parameters and screen frame design, the screening efficiency and screening precision are improved. The application of banana screen can effectively separate the ore of different particle size and improve the production efficiency. In this paper, the advantages of banana screen in practical application are analyzed and summarized, and the future research direction is put forward.
In a banana screen, the vibrating motor vibrates the screen frame and mesh by vibrating force. After the material liquid enters the screen frame, the particle size of different sizes is separated through the screen under the action of vibration force, and the material after screening falls from the screen of different levels to different receivers to complete the screening process. Screen is one of the important factors that affect the efficiency and accuracy of screening. Generally, the more concentrated the structure of the screen and the closer it is to the regular aperture shape, the higher the screening efficiency and the higher the screening accuracy.
For the screen of the banana screen, the round hole form is generally selected, and the screen with different aperture sizes is selected according to the size and density of the granular material. Screen frame design is also one of the factors affecting screening efficiency and screening accuracy. In general, the greater the curvature of the inner wall of the screen frame, the smaller the resistance of the particle material in the screening process, and the higher the screening efficiency. In the optimization process of banana screen, we mainly improved the screen parameters and screen frame design.
1. Optimization of screen parameters Through the screening experiments of different materials, it is found that materials with a larger size distribution range need a wider aperture size combination, while materials with a smaller size distribution range need a narrower aperture size combination. Therefore, we should make the necessary adjustments according to the actual material situation when choosing the screen aperture.
2. Screen frame design optimization We have optimized the screen frame according to its curvature. By strengthening the internal structure design of the screen frame, the screening area is increased, and the screening efficiency and accuracy are improved.
Banana screen is widely used in mining industry. We applied the
banana screen to the limestone screening process and got good results. We select the appropriate screen size, and optimize the structure of the screen frame, improve the screening efficiency and screening accuracy, and reduce the production cost.
