The incomplete unloading of
trough chain conveyor
The conveying form of trough chain conveyor and bucket elevator is opposite, which is the the equipment that carries the material horizontally. The base plate of the box and the scraper chain are easy to be damaged by iron items when they are in operation, while the trough chain conveyor is made of iron and steel. And to avoid this phenomenon, special steel guide rail is installed on the track of connecting shaft of scraper chain by manufacture, which means that every five scarper blades have to be fitted with a wear-resisting plate and create a gap between the conveyor line and the base board. In the process of transportation, a large amount of grain is bound to squeeze and collide with each other. At this time, a part of grain will enter the gap and cause extrusion or crushing, increasing the crushing rate in the transportation process.
The small sweep area of sweeper
The sweeper is located at the back of the discharge port of the
trough chain conveyor and is made of steel plate. A wear-resistant plate is installed at the bottom and the scraper chain and the materials on the scraper are swept into the unloading port by the weight of the steel plate itself. As long as the material passes through the unloading port, the chain will move forward at a normal and uniform speed in the conveying process. Once driven by other impurities, the chain swings backward and makes the sweeper impossible to clean. Most of the materials at the top of the chain fall into the unloading port, and a small part of the materials will be driven to the head of the scraper, and can not be cleaned in time, and eventually the head of the trough chain conveyor is blocked by the materials, which will make the machine stop working. Only when these materials are transferred to other warehouses can the machine be restarted. In this way, the machine will stop and start repeatedly, which will not only affect the service life of the equipment, but also fail to reach the conveying efficiency, and have to be transported again.
The structural design of each part of the elevator should be reformed in combination with the problems existing in the conveying process of the trough chain conveyor to effectively control the crushing condition of grain in the process of lifting.
Thickening the guide rail and enlarging the gap between the scarper blade and the base board
The problem of incomplete unloading of the trough chain conveyor is caused by the gap between the scraper blade and the base board, which causes the collision between the materials and causes the crushing. The gap is caused by the steel guide rail installed to protect the base board of the box and the conveyor line from being damaged. This gap must exist and cannot be eliminated, the gap can be increased with reference to the size of grain particles on this basis to solve the problem,which is to make the gap bigger than the grain. Then using the friction of the material itself to drive part of the material under the scraper, to achieve the purpose of conveying the material again. In addition, add one wear-resisting plate on every 5 ~ 10 scraper, make the bottom edge of wear-resisting plate and the base board of the box contact directly, the side of the box will transport all the remaining materials and avoid repeated extrusion to increase the crushing rate, which not only greatly reduces the crushing rate of materials, but also solves the problem of material retention.
The modification of the sweeper
Due to the small clean area, the original sweeper accumulates materials, resulting in trough chain conveyor shutdown. The modification method is to install a sweeper in the middle of the discharge port and change the bottom end of the original sweeper into a brush according to this instance, so as to prevent direct contact with hard objects, and finally achieve the effect that the sweeper is always within the effective cleaning range. In addition, the reason of noneffective cleaning may also be the damage of the brush of the sweeper, so a back-flow device can be made behind the discharge port to basically solve the problem of drift.
