With the similar work principle and structural composition as the general belt conveyor, the
corrugated sidewall belt conveyor has the such advantages as simple structure, flexible arrangement, large conveying angle, covering less and reliable operation. The application of the corrugated sidewall belt conveyor in the broken glass system improvement has completed the process system of broken glass, reduced the cost of production and controlled the environmental pollution.
After confirming the technical transformation project of broken glass system, three transformation schemes were formulated according to the site situation and technological requirements. The first is the broken glass is transported from the broken glass room to the round bin and into the broken glass system by installing elevator and belt conveyor. The second is the broken glass is directly sent to the broken glass belt and into the broken glass system through the underground belt corridor. The third is the broken glass is directly sent to the broken glass belt and into the broken glass system through the erection of the air belt corridor. For the above three schemes, after site measurement and detailed analysis, it is concluded that the first scheme must be elevated conveying with long conveying path, more equipment, large investment and long duration. The second is although the path is short and less equipment is required, underground belt corridor is difficult to start due to the complicated underground situation during the second line construction and the construction period is long. The third scheme has short path, low construction difficulty and easy operation, but the equipment configuration is more difficult. Compared with the above three schemes, the third one has relatively less investment and strong feasibility. As long as the configuration problem of equipment is solved well, it can be constructed. Therefore, the third scheme is optimized.
After the technical reform program is determined, the most critical is to use what kind of equipment to transport materials. If using the ordinary belt conveyor, not only with large inclination, difficult to transport, but also will seriously affect the normal use of the channel. If using the elevator with belt conveyor, due to the limited space and small height difference between the baiting crusher and the beam, there cannot install the elevator. After investigation, the
corrugated sidewall belt conveyor is selected.
With the corrugated sidewall and special type conveyor of TC diaphragm, the corrugated sidewall belt conveyor can convey the material with large inclination or even vertical elevating. The conveyor is consists of base band, sidewall and lateral diaphragm. The sidewall of corrugated sidewall belt conveyor prevent material side slip, and was arranged in waves to facilitate tangle roller. And the function of lateral diaphragm is to support material and can convey at high-angle. The sidewall and the lateral diaphragm connect with the base band by secondary vulcanization, which has strong connection strength.
The construction sequence--firstly, building a totally enclosed belt corridor in the height is to prevent dust pollution. Secondly, transforming the crusher, the main shaft changes from east-west direction to south-north direction, make way for the belt conveyor. Thirdly, changing the 3 pipelines at the discharge hole to U shape for the belt conveyor to pass through. Fourthly, manufacturing the such matching equipment as the feeding trough, the discharging trough and so on. A vibratory feeder is added on the feeding trough to ensure the even feeding and smooth operation of belt conveyor, which will prolong the service life of belt. And the last step is the installation of the corrugated sidewall belt conveyor.
The utilization of the
corrugated sidewall belt conveyor conveying broken glass can not only save the cost of human, financial and material aspects, but also greatly improve the operating environment.
