Mineral Sizers Access Switch Installation And Technical Description

The mineral sizers proximity switch is a kind of position sensor with switching output, which can be divided into inductive and capacitive according to the working principle. The inductive proximity switch is composed of LC high frequency oscillator and amplifier processing circuit. The metal object is used to generate eddy currents inside the object when it is close to the oscillating induction head that can generate electromagnetic fields. This eddy current reacts on the proximity switch, attenuates the oscillation ability of the proximity switch, and changes the parameters of the internal circuit, thereby identifying whether there is a metal object approaching, and then controlling the switch on or off. The object that can be detected by this proximity switch must be a metal object, and the detection distance is from 0.8mm to 150mm.

According to customer needs, it is made into a high temperature resistant proximity switch, the highest temperature is 150℃. The measuring head of the capacitive proximity switch is usually a plate that constitutes a capacitor, and the other plate is the object itself. When the object moves to the proximity switch, the dielectric constant of the object and the proximity switch changes, so that the state of the circuit connected to the measuring head also changes, and the switch can be controlled to turn on and off. The detection object close to the switch is not limited to a metal conductor, but can also be an insulated liquid or powdery object. When detecting objects with low dielectric constant ε, the multi-turn potentiometer (located at the back of the switch) can be adjusted clockwise to increase the sensitivity.

2. Installation of the proximity switch 1) When installing the proximity switch on the metal, reserve certain space to prevent the switch from being disturbed by metals other than the objects to be detected. Metal parallel to the induction surface should be three times the detection distance away from the induction surface; The metal around the axis of the approach switch shall be outside a cylinder centered on the axis of the approach switch and diametrically three times the diameter of the approach switch.
2) When two or more mineral sizers are installed at the same time to prevent interference between either of them, the switch should be positioned so that the distance between the two sensing surfaces in the axis direction is greater than five times the detection distance; When installed in parallel, the distance between the outer cylinders should be greater than three times the length of the proximity switch diameter, if the switch diameter is different, it should be calculated according to the diameter of the larger proximity switch.
