Application
Based on the above characteristics, the sidewall belt conveyor can play its unique role in bulk grain transportation. However, for a single horizontal or vertical transmission, the cost of the sidewall belt conveyor is usually much higher than the air cushion belt conveyor or bucket elevator. Therefore, the typical application of the undulate side belt conveyor in the food industry is:
1) the space is limited. If the dry grain of storehouse receives a part, bulk grain passes dump grain pit, the air cushion type belt conveyer below storehouse, bucket type elevator and clear screen, horizontal and vertical conveyance is about 10 meters.In this case, the use of wavy side guard belt conveyor to make the process more smooth, civil structure more simple, reduce the food transfer, easy to maintain and manage.
2) the crushing rate of materials needs special control.Under the action of mechanical force, rice and silty maize are easy to be broken or cracked. Belt speed
Belt speed be related to the angle of corrugated sidewall belt conveyor, layout form, conveying length, material size, working condition and other factors. Usually, the belt speed is 0.8~2.5m/s. When the conveyor with large conveying length and small inclination, the high belt speed sidewall belt conveyor will be selected. When the material size is large, large material dust in the working environment, the low belt speed will be selected.
Operation
Grain belong to the small particle size, loose, good fluidity material, it is easy to be affected by the belt shake and other equipment unstable state. Especially in the vertical transport, grain is more sensitive to the running state of the belt, easy to cause leakage; In addition, due to the effect of centrifugal force, the grain is easy to roll and bump when passing through the arc.
