Trough chain conveyor used convey hot material which has been applicance for many industries. At present, trough chain conveyor is a kind of transfor equipment which can convey material with seal structure and continous convey bulk high temperature material. The structure of heat resistance trough chain conveyor is same as ordinary trough chain conveyor, its casing adopts cast iron casing or steel casing with water leg and increasing the scraper cahin automatic take-up device. The conveyed material temperature can achieve 350~700℃. Whether the conveyor can operate reliably depends not only on reasonable design and good manufacturing quality, but also on correct installation. This paper mainly introduce the installation of trough chain conveyor.

Pre-installation
1. First of all, check, clear and classify the parts and components of the trough chain conveyor. If any parts and components are found incomplete or damaged, they should be made up or repaired. Then according to the process configuration, the parts will be transported to the installation site.
2. The installation size of the plant, foundation or platform at the installation site and the trough chain conveyor should be carefully checked. Special attention should be paid to whether the left mounting or right mounting of the drive mounting conforms to the requirements of the process drawing. If there is any mistake, it should be corrected immediately to ensure the installation quality.
3. The link of the scraper chain should be checked section by section to see if it is flexible in movement. Otherwise, it should be removed and replaced or cleaned with kerosene, polished with sandpaper, and installed after rotation. It is strictly forbidden to add lubricating oil on the pintle of scraper chain. The length of the opening pin should not exceed the height of the chain plate after it is installed to prevent the opening pin from being worn off.
4. Prepare necessary installation tools and materials, and provide fitter, crane, plumber, electrician and welder.
Install the trough chain conveyor
1. First of all, the foundation and installation bracket must be horizontally, and then the installing support shall be welded on the embedded parts of the foundation.
2. Assemble each section according to the serial number of each section delivered by the manufacturer.
3. The levelness of trough chain conveyor must be guaranteed.When leveling is installed with the leveler, the wrong movement of the top, bottom and left and right at the falan joint of the shell is not allowed, so as to ensure that the scraper chain will not be stuck or scraped during the operation.
4. The total irregularity of the trough chain conveyor should be measured after assembly.According to the length of the trough chain conveyor, the total deviation value of the center line of the body outer wall head and tail wheel should not exceed the specified range.
