Conveyor cover is a protective cover used in outdoor belt conveyor, its main function is to prevent wind, rain, snow and other damage and loss of belts and materials.
Within a certain range, the greater the moisture content of coal, the greater the dust velocity of its particles, spray water dust removal is based on this mechanism to increase the external moisture of coal, increase the humidity of coal, so that the condensation effect occurs between coal particles. Relatively speaking, although this dust removal method is relatively simple in economy and management, there are also many problems:
(1) Some atomizing sprayer nozzle spray hole is relatively small, if the particle concentration in the surrounding environment is too large or the water quality is not good, it is easy to make the spray sprinkler dust removal system in a paralyzed state, because the nozzle is blocked, so that the spray sprinkler dust removal system can not work normally. (2) It is difficult to effectively control the amount of spray wine in the sprayer. When the sprinkling water is relatively small, the dust removal effect is not obvious; When the water is too much, it is easy to cause the belt of the belt conveyor to be too wet, causing the belt to slip, and when the moisture content of the coal is too much, the viscosity of the coal will increase, resulting in the actual measurement value deviation of the coal production.
In areas with frequent rainy season, when the belt conveyor is running, the rain will penetrate into the material, resulting in an increase in belt transport, thereby increasing the energy loss: and the conveyor belt is exposed to the awake day for a long time, will accelerate the aging of the belt, so the upper part of the conveyor needs to install the conveyor cover.
It can be seen from the figure that the early conveyor cover only played a role in preventing rain, and basically did not take dust-proof and wind-proof factors into account. For the fully enclosed conveyor cover, there are generally 9 fixed covers and 1 open and closed covers in every 10 covers. Both fixed and closed covers are made of galvanized corrugated steel or color coated steel. This kind of rain-proof emulsion is closed between the belt and the conveyor belt. It is difficult for the outside wind to affect the coal on the conveyor belt, so the influence of the wind on the dust can be basically ignored. Due to the vibration of the conveyor belt itself or the coal dust particles raised by the relative movement of coal and air will impact the conveyor cover in the process of starting the conveyor belt. The coal dust particles impacting the rain crime will move at the same impact Angle over the conveyor belt under the action of force. Such reciprocation for several times will cause the coal dust particles to eventually fall back to the conveyor belt due to the energy consumption in the movement process and the influence of their own gravity.
Part of the coal dust particles falling along the rain-proof green wall will also fall to the return belt under the action of their own gravity, and a small part will move together with the conveyor belt. There is no strong adhesion between the coal dust particles falling on the return belt and the conveyor belt, and it can be treated uniformly at the turning belt. In addition, the quick-opening conveyor cover is used on the conveyor belt to facilitate installation, maintenance and replacement.
