The copper ore of one of our customers has a large amount of mud. During the rainy season every year, a large amount of ore is bonded by mud. The vibrating screen in the process is often blocked by mud containing ore, resulting in the unimpeded discharge of ore. In this case, only by reducing the amount of ore delivered to the shaker can normal production be maintained. However, installed under the mouth of the mine, the
apron feeder at the front end of a section of the crusher with ratchet claw speed regulation is intermittent feeding, low production efficiency, uneven feeding, limited speed range, and more fault links. Over the years, when the rainy season comes every year, the method of opening and stopping is used to barely maintain production, and sometimes the vibrating screen blocked by mud ore has to be stopped, so it can not meet the needs of copper mine production, especially the needs of production during the rainy season.
The structural characteristics and operation of
apron feeder in the original design are shown in Figure 2. In addition to apron feeder has a mining plate, conveyor chain plate, conveyor chain, first wheel shaft components, tail wheel hoe components, rack, etc., it also has a large and complex transmission device. It is the motor drives the reducer to operate, drives the transmission shaft to rotate, and promotes the ratchet to rotate intermittently through the pawl connecting rod. The ratchet is mounted on the end of the first wheel shaft to drive the first wheel shaft and its sprocket, and also to rotate intermittently. The sprocket drives the conveyor chain to move intermittently, the conveyor chain plate is fixed on the chain, and the material on the chain plate is intermittently fed to the crusher or the auto mill.
We entrusted a copper mine to renovate apron feeder in operation in the mine to meet the annual production needs during the rainy season. According to the problems in copper mine production, such as intermittent feeding, uneven feeding and limited speed regulation range, it is decided to transform it into an apron feeder with stoppable speed regulation. There is only one production line in the mine, and the transformation process must be carried out on the basis of the original. Therefore, after a multi-option comparison, it was decided to make improvements in the following manner.
Electromagnetic speed regulation motor, increase a pulley deceleration, used for overload protection, cancel the drive shaft, cancel the ratchet pawl a set of transmission system, retain the reducer, increase a chain drive, increase the speed ratio, expand the speed regulation range. The new first wheel shaft is designed, and the original sliding bearing is changed to aligning bearing to ensure the continuous and smooth operation of the plate feeder.
After the technical transformation, the
apron feeder machine has a compact structure and less fault links. Because of the continuous and uniform feeding, it creates a good working condition for each equipment in the crushing screen shitter process, improves the production efficiency and extends the life of the equipment. After the technical transformation, due to the expansion of the low-speed range of the chain plate speed, it can meet the needs of production in the rainy season every year. For several years, the unit has been running well, solved the problem of mine blocking that has not been solved for many years, and achieved stable and high production.
