Precautions for using of the
Z type bucket elevator.
1.Four foundation screws must be installed and balanced after the hoist is set up. After setting up, fix the support point.
2.After the motor connection, light the switch to determine the motor’s inverse rotation, and install the bucket in sequence after the steering is determined.
3.After the hoist is set up, the oil hole nut on the motor reducer is replaced with red plastic nut.
4.Before starting the motor, check the positive and negative rotation first.
5.The charging box gate must be closed before staring the machine.
6.The gate of the feeding box must be closed before stopping the machine.
7.Adjust the tightness of the chain reasonably and keep the plastic bucket balanced.
8.Do not reverse. THE Inverted pole may cause chain derailment and trouble shooting is troublesome.
9.The bucket elevator should start with empty load. Therefore before each shutdown, all the materials in the hopper should be drained and then stopped.
10.Uniform feeding,prohibit sudden increase of feeding quantity. The feeding quantity shall not exceed the conveying capacity of the elevator, or it may cause serious material accumulation at the bottom.
The practical use is the modification of bucket elevator as a very wide range of application of vertical conveying equipment, it has been widely used in grain, feed and speed processing industry. But there are also some problems in the use. In order to enhance its performance and reliability, it is improved as follows.
1.An anti-reversal device is installed in the nose of the
Z type bucket elevator. When power is suddenly cut of during the operation of a bucket elevator, inversion is very dangerous for the bucket elevator. In the process of lifting, one side of the bucket elevator is the up funnel that holds the full material and the other side is the down empty funnel that discharges the material. After power interruption, the bucket elevator must reverse due to the action of gravity. The material is discharged to the bottom of the bucket elevator as the funnel reverse until it is filled and the funnel becomes stuck. Since the inversion is an accelerated motion and then gets stuck suddenly, it is easy to pull of the funnel, damaging or even breaking the belt. In addition, if the bucket elevator is full of materials. It cannot start too.
2.Suction pipes and vents shall be provided at the head and bottom of the bucket elevator to ensure that the bucket elevator will not form negative pressure and dust overflow during unloading and feeding. A well-made delivery equipment must have a reliable sealing. But a good seal in the process of material unloading and the feeding will inevitably produce pressure difference, resulting in feeding and unloading difficulties. The vent makes the internal pressure of the bucket elevator basically equal to the external pressure. Proper air auction prevents dust from escaping from ventilation, avoiding waste and cleaning the environment.
